School Resumption: FG Speaks About The July 20 Re-Opening Of Schools In The Country.

So many people complained of the total lockdown of schools, places of worship and companies throughout the country. Covid-19 cases are growing rapidly day after day in Nigeria.

Finally, it was circulated on social media that on July 20, the federal government will reopen Schools across the country. The news about the circulation of schools resuming on July 20 was discredited by the Federal government. The false report states that the Federal Ministry of Education announced on 20th July the reopening date of schools throughout the country.

On Thursday evening 4 June, the Ministry of Education issued a clarification that rumours were not credible.

The Department also stated that no official date for school reappointment has yet been set nationally. The ministry promised Nigerians that the progress of the school restart would be properly told in due course.

After the outbreak of the deadline COVID-19 pandemic the Federal Government ordered that all schools in the country be shut down. Schools should remain closed to prevent the spread of the virus.
