Nigerian Man Beats Girlfriend To Death After She Refused Him Sex (Photos)

A Nigerian man has been apprehended by the police after he killed his girlfriend because she refused him sex.    Shagbada   A 26-year-old, Shagbada Erigga has been arrested by police in Oyo for allegedly killing his girlfriend, Happiness Winifred, 30, for refusing to have sex with him.   He was paraded  today June 30 by  the Oyo state Commissioner of Police, CP. Chuks Enwonwu, who said that the suspected murderer, Erigga invited Happiness, a mother of three, to his home to spend the night with him on June 21. They got into a heated argument after she refused to have sex with him. He punched her three times. Eight Important Points To Note As FG Reopens Schools, Borders, Others

Eight salient points from FG's directive reopening borders and lifting ban on the interstate movement we all must consider.    Muhammadu Buhari   Following the federal government's decision to lift interstate movement ban, partially reopen schools and allow the resumption of flights, here are important highlights of the last presidential taskforce briefing Nigerians must take into consideration.   1). The Federal Government extended the Phase Two of the eased lockdown by four weeks with effect from Tuesday, June 30, 2020, through Midnight of Monday, 27 July 2020.   2). Interstate movement partially lifted only outside curfew hours   3). Safe reopening of domestic aviation services as soon as practicable   4). Safe re-opening of schools to allow students in graduating classes resume in-person in preparation for examinations   5). FG lamented the continued and general non-compliance with safety measures, noting that Nigeria could experience a resurgence of Covid-19 infections.

A Nigerian guitarist considered to b a legend of the industry has passed away.    Legendary Nigerian guitarist, Berkley Ike Jones   Legendary Nigerian guitarist, Berkley Ike Jones of the defunct BLO is dead.   He died just weeks to his 72nd birthday, last night, June 28, in Asaba where he went for a job.   Ike first appeared on the Nigerian music scene in the mid-1960s, as the drummer in the Port Harcourt-based teen pop group The Figures.   In 1970, at the end of the Nigerian civil war, he signed on as lead guitarist in the rock n’ soul band The Funkees, where his adventurous guitar lines got him noticed by talent scouts who instantly whisked him off to Lagos and installed him in the high profile rock group The Clusters.   The Clusters soon morphed into the Afro Collection under the leadership of Tee Mac Iseli, and then into SALT under Ginger Baker. A staggering 13 luxury cars worth millions of dollars have been recovered from suspected internet fraudster, Hushpuppi.    The cars are worth millions of dollars   Dubai Police has released photos of the exotic cars seized from Instagram celebrity, Raymond Abbas aka Hushpuppi accused of online fraud and money laundering to the tune of Dh1.6 billion.   Recall that Dh150 million ($40.8m) was recovered from him in cash. Buhari Extends Phase Two of Eased Lockdown till July 27

Lifts ban on interstate movement President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the extension of the Phase Two of the eased lockdown by another four weeks, with effect from Tuesday, June 30, 2020 through midnight of Monday, 27 July, 2020.   The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Mr Boss Mustapha, announced the extension on Monday at the task force’s briefing in Abuja. He also said the President had given permission for movement across state borders only outside curfew hours with effect from July, 1, 2020. The, PTF, however said that the nationwide official curfew hours from 10 p.m to 4 a.m. shall remain in place. The task force also said Buhari had ratified the safe reopening of schools to allow students in graduating classes resume in-person in preparation for examinations in addition to the safe reopening of domestic aviation services as soon as practicable.
