Following rampant allegations of corruption, Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari has been asked to resign.  President Muhammadu Buhari   The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to tender his resignation over alleged rampant cases of corruption in federal agencies.   According to The Nations, the national chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, made the call in an ongoing media parley in Abuja.   Secondus cited ongoing corruption investigations in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), and others.   The PDP chairman said corruption has become a way of life among Nigerians while President Buhari plays the ostrich.   He accused the president of abandoning his promise to fight corruption during electioneering campaigns in 2015 and 2019.   The call comes days after members of the House of Representatives on the platform of the PDP had announced t

Celebrated Nollywood actor, Kunle Afolayan has shared with his fans a glimpse of his Mercedes vintage car.  Afolayan shows off his vintage car   Popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has wowed many of his followers by showing off his Exotic 1929 Mercedes-Benz vintage car.   The celebrated filmmaker took to his official page on the photo-sharing app, Instagram, with a video in which he was spotted cruising into his office premises in a vintage 1929 Mercedes Benz Gazelle.   Afolayan also accompanied the post with some cool photos of the automobile. To arrive at the findings, the researchers analysed samples of 605 people — who previously had no symptoms of cancer — collected between 2007 and 2014.  A team of researchers in China have discovered a blood test that can detect cancer up to four years before symptoms appear, in a latest study. The study, published in Nature Communications, a scientific journal, on Tuesday, revealed that the test — christened PanSeer — could detect cancer in 95% of individuals who had no symptoms before but diagnosed with the disease later. The researchers found that it could also test cancer in the different parts of the body including stomach, gullet, bowel, lungs and liver before conventional diagnosis is administered. Some of the products include contaminated dairy products and meat from illegally slaughtered animals.  Police Seize Fake COVID-19 Testing Kits From 77 Countries In International Trafficking Crackdown 17,000 fake COVID-19 testing kits discovered in raids against illicit food and drink products across dozens of countries, have been siezed by the International Police (Interpol).  407 people linked to the seized $40 million (34.5 million euros) worth of fake or substandard products from 77 countries, have been arrested in raids carried out from December 2019 to June 2020. The government of Nigeria has announced a budget of N12.66 trillion for the year 2021.  President Muhammadu Buhari   Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari has announced an aggregate expenditure of N12.66 trillion for the 2021 financial year.   According to Buhari, 2021 budget would be based on an oil benchmark of $40 per barrel of crude oil.   President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan on Tuesday read on the floor of the Senate, the 2020 – 2021 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper from President Muhammadu Buhari.   The document forwarded to the Senate by President Muhammadu Buhari for approval proposed the sum of N12.66trillion as aggregate expenditure for 2021 on a deficit of N5.16 trillion to be financed by total loan packages of N4.28 trillion.   It further targeted N481.41billion as statutory transfers, N5.75trillion as recurrent expenditure, N3.33trillion for capital expenditure and N3.12 trillion for debt servicing.   The document equally projected $40 as oil
