El-Rufai Opens Up On Fake Covid-19 Case Across Nigeria

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state has reacted to claims that some state governors are reducing the number of COVID-19 samples sent to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). The governor said such claim might be “partly right”.

The governor was responding to a tweet by one Jibrin Ibrahim who picked holes in the COVID-19 numbers released by NCDC every evening.

Ibrahim insinuated that state governors might be reducing the number of samples sent to NCDC so they can record low numbers and hasten return to normal activities.

The suspect who is reportedly the son of a Lagos Monarch has been apprehended by the police for numerous crimes.    The Suspect, Yusuf Police operatives from Satellite Town in Lagos have arrested the notorious leader of a gang and he reportedly claimed he was the son of a Lagos monarch. The man identified as Yusuf aka Prince, was arrested at Abule Oshun where he allegedly led his gang to a warehouse to rob and extort the owners. Trouble was said to have started after members of the gang stormed a warehouse in Abule-Osun with the intention of extorting money from the owner but the attempt was resisted leading to a fierce crisis.
