Too Bad! School Classroom Turned Into Poultry Farm In Borno (Photos)

Nigerians have lamented on social media after a classroom meant for teaching and learning was converted to a poultry farm.    The classroom was converted to a poultry farm in Borno   As students prepare to return to school across Nigeria, a sad development has happened in a public school in Borno state after a classroom meant for teaching and learning was turned into a poultry farm.   In some photos shared by a Twitter user, Olusegun Iselaiye on his page, a school was made into a poultry farm in an area in Borno state.   In the photos, desks and chairs used for learning are seen arranged into a corner as room is being made for the habitation of livestock. Tools naturally being used in a poultry farm are being utilized in the classroom that was initially built for learning.   Social media users have condemned the act calling on the government to act immediately as they ponder about the fate of educational institutions after the pandemic.   See more...

Blind Man Cries For Help After Boko Haram Demanded N20m Ransom To Free His Daughter And Niece (Photo)

A Nigerian man living in Maiduguri has cried out for help after Boko Haram terrorists abducted his daughter and niece.  Papa Jato Ndarfa   A 75 year old internally displaced blind man, Papa Jato Ndarfa has called for help after Boko Haram members demanded N20 million from him  before his daughter and niece will be released to him.   TheNation reported that the traumatized blind old man currently living at the CAN Centre IDPs Camp Maiduguri told journalists that he has appealed to the insurgents to have mercy on him and release his daughter and niece as he could not to raise such amount of money being demanded.   The distraught old man narrated that his daughter, Lami Jato, 25 a graduate of Sir Kashim Ibrahim College of Education Maiduguri including his niece, Renita Bitrus were both abducted by some suspected Boko Haram terrorists two weeks ago at a farm in Tungushe, Magumeri Local Government area of Borno State alongside a tractor driver.   Tungushe is loc...

The rapper took to his Instagram page on Thursday announcing that he has recovered from the virus.    AKA One of South Africa's most popular rappers, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA, has recovered from coronavirus. AKA had confirmed he tested positive for the novel virus few days ago. The rapper took to his Instagram page on Thursday announcing that he has recovered from the virus. He disclosed that he did not cough all through the 13 days in isolation. He promised to share his recovery journey with everyone and be transparent as possible while in self-isolation. However, some fans took to his page claiming he lied about his status and was allegedly paid by the government to say he tested positive for the virus.
