Following the on-going claims about the involvement of some PDP stalwarts to alleged fraudster, Hushpuppi, Dino Melaye has reacted.  Dino Melaye, Hushpuppi Due to the on-going claims by the APC accusing some members of the PDP over their alleged involvement with suspected fraudster, Hushpuppi, Senator Dino Melaye has said he will not glorify the ruling party, APC, with a response over claims made by the party. Over the weekend, the deputy National Spokesperson of the APC, Yekini Nabena, released a statement in which he called on EFCC and other security agencies to investigate the links between Hushpuppi and some PDP stalwarts. According to Nabena, some of the PDP chieftains like Dino Melaye, Atiku Abubakar, Yakubu Dogara, and Bukola Saraki have been photographed with Hushpuppi and so they must be investigated for any possible links. After the death of former Oyo state governor on Thursday, it was expected that he would be buried within 24 hours according to Islamic rites. But surpringly, the funeral rites of ex Senator and Governor, and has been postponed by the family. The postponement was announced by Bolaji Tunji, a spokesperson for the family of the deseased. According to the Nation Newspaper, Tunji told reporters in his Oluyole, Ibadan residence on Friday morning that the family would soon make an announcement of the burial programme. He said that the burial would be observed privately so as to be in accordance with the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) guidelines.
