All private school proprietors should take note of this on sort of schools that might be folded by the government when schools resume.

 

Following the outbreak of covid-19 and the deliberation of the government to resume schools, there is no doubt that there will be changes in the modus operandi of schools, as Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo had earlier said that the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic have presented an unprecedented opportunity for Nigeria to reset critical sectors of its economy, of which educational sector is one of the major sectors that the government will reset to ensure the safety of students when schools resume amid covid-19 pandemic.

In sync with this, guidelines have been provided by the government for school resumption. All private school proprietors should note that schools that are not able to meet up with the necessary requirements needed to keep these guidelines like, pipe borne water for regular washing of hands, more school buildings which will enable students to maintain social distancing, might be folded by the government when schools resume amid covid-19 pandemic.
