Former Inter president Massimo Moratti said “you cannot hold someone who has the idea of being somewhere else” as Lautaro Martinez continues to be linked with Barcelona.

Martinez has been tipped to swap Serie A’s Inter for LaLiga champions Barca, who are determined to sign a long-term replacement for veteran forward Luis Suarez.

Despite Barca’s reported interest amid the coronavirus pandemic, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio insisted Martinez will not be sold for anything less than his €111million buyout clause.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, 463 new cases of the COVID-19 pandemic was recorded in the country.    463 New Cases Of Coronavirus Recorded In Nigeria The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday July 14 announced that 463 new cases of Coronavirus was recorded in Nigeria.  A breakdown of the new cases across states is as follows; Lagos-128, Kwara-92, Enugu-39, Delta-33, Edo-29, Plateau-28, Kaduna-23, Oyo-15, Ogun-14, Osun-14, FCT-12, Ondo-9, Rivers-9, Abia-8, Bayelsa-5, Ekiti-3, Borno-2.  There are now 33,616 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the country and 13,792 patients who recovered have been discharged. 754 deaths have also been recorded. COVID-19: WHO to update clinical guidance for treating patients

The World Health Organization (WHO) said it is moving to update its guidelines on treating people stricken with COVID-19 to reflect results of a clinical trial that showed a cheap, common steroid can help save critically ill patients. Trial results announced on Tuesday showed dexamethasone, used since the 1960s to reduce inflammation in diseases such as arthritis, cut death rates by around a third among the most severely ill COVID-19 patients admitted to hospital. The WHO’s clinical guidance for treating patients infected with the new coronavirus is aimed at doctors and other medical professionals and seeks to use the latest data to inform clinicians on how best to tackle all phases of the disease, from screening to discharge. Although the dexamethasone study’s results are preliminary, the researchers behind the project said it suggests the drug should immediately become standard care in severely stricken patients.
