26 SCHOOLS THAT MAY RESUME BEFORE MID JULY.

Following the fact that the Federal Government has considered re-opening schools in some states, Higher institutions in some states could also be re-opened before mid july especially now that the inter-state ban is being lifted by the federal government.

 

Also, The Government released measures for schools that are to be re-opened, and are to be re-opened only for graduating students.

But here are some higher institutions that could be re-opened before Mid-July;

(1)Babcock University: Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo Ogun state already stated to the feferal government weeks ago that they are ready to resume but the federal government kicked against it as they haven't given guidelines regarding school re-opening at that time. This university alɍeady started Online classes, as early as when the pandemic and lock down began.

They already started online exams for the 2nd semester, 2019/2020 session.

(2)Leadcity University: Lead City University, Ibadan also stated alongside Babcock University, that they were also ready to resume. But for the the same cause,the federal government kicked against it as well. They began online examinations as well and could likely resume before Mid july for they are fully ready.

(3) Federal University, Lokoja: Kogi State could likely be declared corona virus free soon,as the state has the least or no number of reported cases everyday. Federal University, Lokoja also has chances of resuming activities as well before Mid july.

(4) Kogi State University: This University which is also located in Lokoja could as well resume before the middle of july. This is because kogi state might probably be Corona Virus free as it has recorded no cases in the past few days.

(5)Ekiti State University: Ekiti State of recent has recorded no COVID-19 cases in the past few days as well. Ekiti state which hardly jokes with education could also have its state University resume in a matter of days.

(6)Obafemi Awolowo University: Osun state is as well one of the states that have low numbers of recorded COVID-19 cases.Osun state also plans on re-opening primary and secondary schools for graduating students. OAU being in osun state, could also be prompted by this,if things work out well,to resume school before the end of July.

(7)University of Ibadan: Since the oyo state government was first to present the idea of re-opening schools for primary and secondary school graduating students and it was later approved by the federal government,If the school re-opening for the primary and secondary schools work out,The federal government could consider re-opening the University Of Ibadan as well, that too probably before the middle of the month of july.

(8)The Polytechnic,Ibadan. The Polytechnic,Ibadan could as well resume before mid July. 'Polybadan as it is fondly called has already fumigated the school environment,handed out facemasks to every of its staff and even constructed wash hand basins at basic locations in the school,The school management also promised hand sanitizers everywhere on campus.Polybadan had started its online classes as soon the lockdown everywhere began and its students cant wait to resume back to school. Chances are on a greater and safer side for the school to resume before mid july.

(9) Olabisi Onabanjo University: The Ogun state University,Olabisi Onabanjo has had its student faring very well in the e-learning online classes that has was created. The University whivh had recently just accredited some of its courses of study may likely be re-opened as well before mid July.The school already have in place some materials needed to prevent COVID-19 in the environment.

(10) University of Ilorin: Unilorin, kwara state could is also among Universities that could be re-opened before middle of july. As it is,Cases in Kwara State reduces virtually which could prompt the school's resumption,as well as others in the state.
