The announcement of the death of the past governor of Oyo state appeared as a surprise to some people and likewise, it didn't shock other people.

After all, we plead his soul to rest in perfect peace. Bear in mind, this does not tarnish his image or to say undermine his good name. 


This is merely to accentuate some judgments he performed which many people were not comfortable with, and made them dislike him. Don't forget that, you cannot satisfy everybody. No matter the decision you make, some people will still hate and dislike you.

The issue of salary: Ajimobi at a period, owed pensioners their salaries for more than 5 years during his term.

The Ayefele Music house: The period he made a judgment to demolish the building of Fresh Fm Radio station in Ibadan. This decision made a lot of people in Ibadan to hate him. He claimed the building was built on the government's property.

The Issue Of Olubadan: Ajimobi was speculated to have insulted the Olubadan emperor for what he did. He inaugurated Kings and bestowed crown on them against the desire of Olubadan.

He Talked To People Without Fear: Many Oyo state indigenes have accused Ajimobi of talking to anybody without fear. He talks with power and doesn't care what will happen.

After all said and done, Ajimobi remains one of the best governors to have ever ruled in Oyo state.

Postponement of Burial Of Late Ajimobi: How Long Can a Muslim Corpse Last Before Burial?

After the death of former Oyo state governor on Thursday, it was expected that he would be buried within 24 hours according to Islamic rites. But surpringly, the funeral rites of ex Senator and Governor, and has been postponed by the family. The postponement was announced by Bolaji Tunji, a spokesperson for the family of the deseased. According to the Nation Newspaper, Tunji told reporters in his Oluyole, Ibadan residence on Friday morning that the family would soon make an announcement of the burial programme. He said that the burial would be observed privately so as to be in accordance with the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) guidelines.
