Resumption of flights: Open one airport in each geo-political zone — Aviation Committee

House of Representatives Committee on Aviation yesterday called on the federal government to reopen airports in each six geo-political zone of the country when the ban on a flight is eventually lifted.

The call was made by the chairman of the Committee, Honourable Nnolim Nnaji who advised the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 to consider the partial opening of the airports to unlock the economy.

Following the on-going claims about the involvement of some PDP stalwarts to alleged fraudster, Hushpuppi, Dino Melaye has reacted.  Dino Melaye, Hushpuppi Due to the on-going claims by the APC accusing some members of the PDP over their alleged involvement with suspected fraudster, Hushpuppi, Senator Dino Melaye has said he will not glorify the ruling party, APC, with a response over claims made by the party. After the death of former Oyo state governor on Thursday, it was expected that he would be buried within 24 hours according to Islamic rites. But surpringly, the funeral rites of ex Senator and Governor, and has been postponed by the family. The postponement was announced by Bolaji Tunji, a spokesperson for the family of the deseased. According to the Nation Newspaper, Tunji told reporters in his Oluyole, Ibadan residence on Friday morning that the family would soon make an announcement of the burial programme. He said that the burial would be observed privately so as to be in accordance with the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) guidelines.
