Pastor Kalejaiye Ezekiel had allegedly visited the native doctor, Ogunkoya, for some spiritual works concerning his Church and the witchdoctor, 48 , who claimed that he needed a man for rituals decided to use Ezekiel for the rituals. The Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, the apex socio-cultural body of the Niger Delta people, has described President Muhammadu Buhari’s Democracy Day address, to the nation, as rhetoric, apathetic, and largely, a promissory note. Following the resumption of LaLiga in Spain and other leagues across Europe amid partial lockdown in Kano State, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has directed for the re-opening of all viewing centres in the state. He, however, directed them to observe all protocols enunciated by health workers. He made this known when the leadership of Soccer Viewing Centres Association, Kano State, paid him a courtesy call in his office, Friday, urging for ease of the lockdown order for the centres. The Nigeria Police Force says it granted cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, bail because it is “mindful of the people” it takes into custody. Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, told newsmen that Bobrisky was arrested in connection to a N30m fraud, adding that the matter was under investigation. Mba said, “He (Bobrisky) was arrested, but he has been granted bail; he is no longer in our custody but he is still under investigation. Police detectives from Abuja, on Thursday, arrested cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, over an alleged N30m fraud. It was gathered that Bobrisky was arrested at the Lekki area of Lagos State. Newsmen learnt that a yet-to-be-identified businesswoman petitioned the police and alleged that Bobrisky fraudulently collected the sum of N30m from her. It was learnt that Bobrisky was later granted an administrative bail. The Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, who confirmed the arrest, stated that the matter was under investigation. A student, Yusuf Isah Adi, has been hacked to death with a cutlass in Ugah area of Lafia, Nasarawa State. A community leader, Musa Saidu, told our reporter on Thursday that the late Adi was attacked when he was sleeping by one Rabiu Musa Omiya. Saidu alleged that Omiya hit Adi with a cutlass on his head and also injured Adi’s younger brother during the attack. He said, while the younger brother of Adi is still receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital, the late Adi lost too much blood and died. Before his death, Yusuf was a student with the College of Health Science and Technology, Keffi, Nasarawa State. Saidu said that the assailant is, however, on the run, but the incident has been reported to the Police “C” Division.
