The Big Brother housemate in the ongoing reality show said he dated a girl for eight years without s*x.    Brighto Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, housemate, Brighto, on Tuesday gave an insight into his past relationship. Brighto said he dated a girl for eight years without sex. He disclosed this during a chat with fellow housemates. According to Brighto:  “I did not have sex with my 8 years ex-girlfriend.” The current season of BBNaija reality television show has 20 housemates jostling for N85 Million worth of prizes. The housemates would be lodged at the Big Brother House for the next ten weeks to entertain TV viewers across Africa and beyond.

A great friend of President Muhammadu Buhari who died yesterday has been buried.  Isa Funtua buried in Abuja   Isa Funtua, the late founding President of the Newspaper Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN) and former Managing Director of the Democrat Newspapers, has been buried.   He was buried on Tuesday at the Gudu Cemetery at Abuja.   The late elderstatesman died of cardiac arrest on Monday night at 78.   Isa Funtua was President Muhammadu Buhari’s political associate and in-law.   The Salat-al- Janazah was held before his burial at the Shehu Shagari Central Mosque, Area 1, Garki, Abuja.   It was preformed by the Chief Imam Area 1 Mosque, Sheikh Abdulahi Bala Yau.   Prayers were offered at his grave by the Chief Imam of National Mosque, Abuja, Dr Kabir.   Some of the dignitaries at the Janazah prayer and the burial include nephew of President Muhammadu Buhari, Mamman Daura; former Ogun Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun; FCT Minister Moh...

Lady Defrauds Victims Of N179m, Spends N1m On Tithe, N139m On Sport Betting

A woman alongside her accomplices have been apprehended by the EFCC over an alleged N179 million fraud.  The Suspect, Nkechi Mercy Ikogwe A woman, Nkechi Mercy Ikogwe alongside two companies, Elites Finance Investment Limited and Efinc Global Investment Limited, were on Monday arraigned before Justice E.A. Obile of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, over alleged N179 million fraud. EFCC arraigned them on a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretence contrary to Section 1(1) (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act No. 14, 2006 and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the same Act. The woman was said to have used the sum of N139,704,097 of the N179 million to play sport betting and also paid a tithe of N1 million to a church in Port Harcourt. The Bloomberg news portal reports that five public hospitals in the capital Antananarivo had already announced that they could no longer cope with the influx of patients. The government has opened a 400-bed treatment center for people with mild symptoms and is importing about 1,000 oxygen machines. Earlier this month, President Andry Rajoelina reimposed a lockdown on the country’s central region following a spike of new cases.
